Training format program and training report
The training format developed is based on the findings from the produced manual and focuses on providing materials and instructions for sports staff on the quality implementation of sessions with girls aged 12-16 in the sports environment. The purpose of the training format is to translate the theoretical knowledge and understanding provided in the manual into practical strategies and actions that sports staff, including coaches and physical educators, can implement effectively to address menstrual health in the context of sports. Building upon the foundational information and insights presented in the manual, the training format aims to equip sports staff with the necessary skills, tools, and resources to navigate the unique challenges and considerations associated with menstruation among female athletes aged 12-16.
Training camp within the project ”Mind the Gap” took place from the 25th to 29th of June 2024, in Nis, Serbia, and gathered 16 representatives from our four partner organizations. The training camp was planned with a clear focus on enhancing the skills and knowledge of sports personnel in two crucial areas. Over the course of five days, the camp aimed to equip participants with the necessary tools to apply project information practically and to raise awareness about menstrual health within their communities. See the report below for details.
